Crandall Crandall, an inspired and overly concerned student of the sciences, when faced with the environmental plight in which modern man had left his own planet, he took upon himself the charge of saving the natural world from humanity’s corrosive ways. So, for years he labored in his makeshift laboratory in the basement bedroom of our heroes’ apartment constructing the ‘Enviro-Device’ a scientific miracle machine spawn from his obsessive drive to save nature from man and the world from itself. Tragically, as Crandall prepared to throw the switch thus activating his machine, the bombs fell across the Earth without warning, laying waste to the populous and depriving Crandall’s machine the electricity it needed to perform its final redemptive task. The Earth itself, so infuriated by its own nuclear devastation and Crandall’s failure to protect the planet chose in an irradiated rage to spurn Crandall from her surfaces forever. While Crandall can now fly up and beyond the heavens without heed of gravity’s will he’s denied to ever touch again the now ravaged remnants of the Earth he so loved.

Amherst Having always been an artist seeking to bring beauty to the world who was more than casually well acquainted with anger, Amherst’s temper learned new extents of severity after the missiles fell about his home leaving both innocent stranger and damned loved one alike senselessly murdered or mired in radioactive deformity. Amherst was spared his life in the attack, safe in the underground apartment, but even that bomb shelter could not protect him from the effects of the fallout as it warped his body into the weapon of anger, anger at an unjust and senseless slaughter manifesting his temper’s vulgarities into the quite literal F bombs he uses to bring justice to the desolate and barren world which in which he had struggled so hard earlier in life to bring artistic beauty and wonder. Fueled by rage, projectile explosives and his unrelenting sense of justice he drives our heroes onwards to search out victory and justice for the weak.
Stengths: Temper.
Weaknesses: Tantrum.
Efrem In life Efrem's greatest weakness was his ability to seemingly disappear and fade away from plain sight for extended periods of time, to slip into a video game reverie in which he could spend countless hours letting his own muscles atrophy while his prowess in the video game world increased exponentially. Well, when the bombs hit Efrem's video game world was cut to a surreptitious end when the radiation transmuted Efrem's real-life lanky frame into the Baseball-toting invisible body of his video game persona. A body ready to join with his friends and indulge in the life of valor, cunning and battle that he had so long sought in a virtual world that has now been supplanted by a horribly disfigured real future.
Strengths: Invisibo!
Weaknesses: Where’d he go?
Billy The royal duke of West Korea, Billy towered above his people, possessing in earlier life a might and strength not beyond human means but surely beyond the means of his fellow Gooks. However, Billy's life in America was not the life of power and destiny his people would have had for him. Instead of ruling the West Koreans from afar Billy found himself trapped in a perpetual cycle of hunger and lethargy, drifting ever between his dreams of distant video games and a 7-11 line awaiting a heavily processed hot-dog. However, when Billy slept so quietly with his faithful companion Zorbat atop his chest he never expected the nuclear attack that would level his world. Nor did he expect that the fallout from that attack would morph Billy's physical manifestations of size and power into hyper-human capabilities of strength and digestion allowing the once mild-mannered Duke to now consume entire cows in one bite, level entire buildings with a finger and join his companions to seek out those responsible for Earth's destruction and bring them to justice.
Strengths: Munchlax.
Weaknesses: Snorlax.
Zorbat Once a simple house cat with outstanding aptitude only as a hunter of crickets and other such insects-types, Zorbat the cat’s life, like the rest of the Beeficide crews’, was turned on end then night that the nuclear winter engulfed the Earth in the wake of the cataclysmic attack. While many fell victim to radiation’s affects and became deformed vestiges of their former selves, Zorbat found herself asleep atop stalwart Billy that night dreaming of feline theft and murder only to find herself awoken a sapient creature endowed with intelligence and language beyond any cat’s normal capacity. Sharpened too were here feline senses, allowing Zorbat to sense beyond the ruined Earth out to the imminent threats of the cosmos. And so it was that she took her place about Billy’s crown as a member of the Beeficide team.
Strenghts: Kitty!
Weaknesses: Cave prison.
